2005
24th January 2005: TECNI-Cable Ltd was formed by Trevor Heyworth.

10th April 2005: Starts to build an operating system with e-commerce, CRM & ERP integration using Netsuite Cloud-based

13th October 2005: First phone order received.
2006
29th January 2006: First website order received.
2007
8th May 2007: Employees increases to 2 staff.

4th August 2007: Undertook a high-profile project to install balustrading at the Newhaven Fish Market in Leith, Edinburgh.
2008
2nd January 2008: TECNI-Cable Ltd moves into a new factory at 5 Commerce Way, Highbridge, Somerset.

7th January 2008: Employees increase to 3 staff.
2009
6th April 2009: TECNI-Lift Ltd was formed.

14th April 2009: Employees increase to 5 staff.

1st September 2009 Employees increase to 8 staff.

29th October 2009: TECNI-Cable Ltd wins Somerset E-Business award.
2011
17th October 2011: TECNI-Cable Ltd achieves ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems certification
2012
22nd February 2012: Employees increase to 10 staff.

15th March 2012: TECNI-Cable Ltd, TECNI-Lift Ltd & TECNI Ltd goes through a rebranding.
2013
7th January 2013: We expand into another factory unit.
2014
7th April 2014: Delivery of 600t Talurit Hydraulic Press.
2016
9th March 2016: Delivery of Technifor laser engraver, improving traceability and customisation options.

23rd March 2016: Employees increase to 20 staff.

29th June 2016: TECNI-Cable Ltd & TECNI-Lift Ltd were merged into one company TECNI Ltd.

2nd December 2016: Started using Niton XL5 Analyser to verify component materials.
2017
28th February 2017: PONSA becomes manufacturing partner for webbing and round slings

8th November 2017: Employees increase to 21 staff.

17th November 2017: Achieved Lloyds LRQA ISO 9001:2015 QMS Certification
2018
12th February 2018: TECNI Ltd moves into a new factory at 10 Evercreech Way, Highbridge, Somerset.

TECNI-Cable Ltd became TECNI Ltd & TECNI-Lift merged into the renamed company, creating a one-stop-shop for steel wire rope products & lifting & safety equipment.
2019
1st March 2019: Andy Caulton takes over as Managing Director of TECNI Ltd.
