This professional TECNI compact crimping tool comes with hardened stainless steel dies for pressing 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm & 2.5mm TALURIT copper & aluminium/aluminum ferrules and Code 1.5 and 2 Stop copper & aluminium/aluminum ferrules.
Exceptionally smooth action compared with other tools on the market with very positive opening and closing. The dies are removable & are made from stainless steel material.

Advice:
This tool cannot crimp stainless steel wire rope ferrules.
Use with aluminium & copper wire rope ferrules generally in accordance with BS EN 13411-3:2004+A1:2008 terminations & aluminium & copper wire rope cylindrical stop ferrules on 7x7 & 7x19 construction steel wire ropes sizes 1mm to 2.5mm diameter
Ferrule sizes 1.5 and above require two crimping operations with the tool. Crimp 50% of the ferrule and then move the die head along and crimp the remaining 50% of the ferrule.
Recommended for use with 7x7 & 7x19 construction cables.
For use with steel core cables with the ferrule size matching the cable diameter, E.g. use a Code 1 Ferrule with 1mm 7x7 Steel Cable, use a Code 2 Ferrule with 2mm 7x7 Steel Cable. For intermediate cable sizes use the next ferrule size up e.g. use a Code 1.5 Ferrule with 1.25mm 7x7 Steel Cable, use a Code 2 Ferrule with 1.8mm 7x7 Steel Cable.
Soft loops & thimble eyes made using this tool will achieve approximately 90% of the minimum breaking strength of the steel cable. Stop fittings will achieve approximately 50% of the minimum breaking strength of the steel cable.
It is possible to reverse the dies in the tool to get a higher crimp force nearer to the central pinion of the tool.
